RedGlow Sculpt – Level 3

Our most demanding format: RedGlow Sculpt is Level 3 – intensive shaping and defining for women who have mastered the Reformer and want to work on details. 50 minutes, no more than eight participants.

Who is RedGlow Sculpt for?

For you, if RedGlow Power no longer takes you to your limit. If you have been training regularly for months, your technique stays stable under load and you yourself notice when an exercise is clean and when it is not.

Sculpt is not an entry-level class, nor one to try out casually. If you are unsure, talk to your trainer beforehand – she will tell you openly whether you are ready.

What we work on

Sculpt is work on definition: higher repetitions at the edge of endurance, longer holds, unilateral exercises that reveal imbalances, and combinations that challenge several muscle groups at once.

  • Isolation instead of momentum. We take the pace out wherever compensation creeps in – slow is harder.
  • Time under tension. Holds and slow eccentrics that make a muscle work to the end.
  • One side at a time. Unilateral work shows where your weaker side is – and closes the gap.
  • Instability. Fewer points of support, longer levers, higher demands on your core.

How a class runs

A short, precise warm-up – at this level it must not be one that already tires you. Then we work in series: one muscle block is fully exhausted before the next begins.

Your trainer gives fewer cues and more fine corrections. Most hints are small: one degree more external rotation, one centimetre less range, one more spring. At Level 3 that is exactly what makes the difference.

The finish is deliberately calm. After this intensity your nervous system needs the transition.

Red light and near-infrared – especially here

Every participant has her own panel with red light and near-infrared at the Reformer. At Level 3, where the muscles are challenged the most, it is more than a nice light: near-infrared penetrates deeper into muscle and connective tissue and can support circulation, tissue metabolism and recovery.

Honestly: light alone shapes no muscle. You do the work on the Reformer – the panel gives your body good conditions while you do.

What to bring

Sportswear, grip socks and a water bottle. We provide everything else.

How often per week?

Two Sculpt sessions a week are enough for most – your muscles need recovery in between. Many participants combine Sculpt with one Glow – Stretch & Infrared class and one Power session. Three Sculpt classes in a row are not progress, but a plateau.

Frequently asked questions about RedGlow Sculpt

Can I start with Sculpt straight away if I am very fit?

Fitness does not replace Reformer technique. Even very athletic beginners start with us in Foundation – usually it is over faster than they expect.

Will I get bulky?

Reformer training shapes and defines. The effect is toning, not massive building – the classic hypertrophy load is missing for that.

How sore will I be?

Clearly noticeable at first, especially in the lateral core and the hamstrings. After two to three weeks your body gets used to it.

How big are the classes?

A maximum of eight women. At this level, that is what makes the fine corrections possible.

What does a class cost?

Single booking or 5, 10 and 20 class cards for all formats. Current prices in the timetable.
