Pilates Steglitz – women-only Reformer Pilates

Women-only Reformer Pilates for Steglitz: 50 minutes, no more than eight participants, red light and near-infrared at every machine. From Rathaus Steglitz the S1 brings you to our studio at Kolonnenstraße 54 in Schöneberg in about ten minutes.

Why women from Steglitz train with us

Steglitz has big gyms and some mat Pilates classes. A women-only Reformer studio with small groups and its own light panel at every machine is something it does not have. And because the S1 connects Steglitz and Schöneberg without changing trains, getting to us is quicker than heading into the city centre.

Getting here

By S-Bahn: S1 from Rathaus Steglitz towards Oranienburg, via Feuerbachstraße, Friedenau and Schöneberg to Julius-Leber-Brücke, then about five minutes on foot. From Lichterfelde, simply stay on the S1 a few stops longer.

By bike: Along Schloßstraße and Rheinstraße towards Innsbrucker Platz, about 15 to 20 minutes depending on your starting point.

By car: Via Rheinstraße and Hauptstraße. Parking in Schöneberg is limited; the S-Bahn is usually more relaxed.

Reformer instead of mat

On the Reformer you work on a rolling carriage against springs. The trainer sets the resistance for each exercise so that it supports or challenges you. That means a beginner can train next to someone experienced and both get a proper workout. The training is easy on the joints and strengthens above all your core, posture and mobility.

Women only, a maximum of eight per class

Only women train at WeLovePilates. The small groups mean the trainer really sees you and corrects you. More on Women-only Pilates in Berlin.

Red light and near-infrared at every Reformer

Above every Reformer hangs its own panel with red and near-infrared light. No other studio in Berlin equips every machine like this. Both wavelengths reach into the tissue and can stimulate circulation and metabolism in the muscles. Many of our members say they recover faster after class and find it easier to let go of tension.

To be honest about it: light does not burn fat and it does not replace training. You do the work on the Reformer; the panel creates good conditions for it. More on our page Red Light Pilates Berlin.
