Abs, legs and glutes in Berlin – with Reformer Pilates
Abs, legs and glutes in Berlin, but different from the classic group class: on the Reformer you strengthen your core, legs and glutes against spring resistance, joint-friendly and fully guided. Women only, a maximum of eight per class, with red light and near-infrared at every machine, in Berlin-Schöneberg.
Why the Reformer works so well for abs, legs and glutes
A classic “Bauch Beine Po” class works with your own body weight on the mat, often with lots of repetitions. That is fine, but it soon hits limits: the resistance can hardly be increased, and many exercises strain the knees or lower back when technique slips.
On the Reformer it is different. The trainer sets the right spring resistance for each exercise. During footwork, bridges or lunges on the rolling carriage, your glutes and thighs work against real resistance while your core stabilises you the whole time. So your core is trained in almost every exercise, not just the ab work.
What you train
- Abs and core: deep abdominals, obliques and pelvic floor that stabilise every movement.
- Legs: front and back of the thighs, inner and outer thighs, controlled and without impact on the knees.
- Glutes: bridges, leg circles, kicks and standing work on the carriage.
- Posture: back and shoulders join in because you have to hold yourself upright on the moving carriage.

Honestly: what you can expect
Regular Reformer training strengthens your muscles, improves posture and stability and can shape your figure if you stick with it. How quickly you see changes depends on how often you train, how you eat and how active you are day to day. Twice a week is a good rhythm. We do not promise miracles, just training that is worth it and fun.
Red light and near-infrared at every Reformer
Above every Reformer hangs its own panel with red and near-infrared light. No other studio in Berlin equips every machine like this. Both wavelengths reach into the tissue and can stimulate circulation and metabolism in the muscles. Many of our members say they recover faster after class and find it easier to let go of tension.
To be honest about it: light does not burn fat and it does not replace training. You do the work on the Reformer; the panel creates good conditions for it. More on our page Red Light Pilates Berlin.
Women only, right in Schöneberg
Only women train here, in groups of up to eight. The studio is at Kolonnenstraße 54, a few minutes from S-Bahn Julius-Leber-Brücke. More on Women-only Pilates in Berlin and Women’s fitness in Schöneberg.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a classic abs-legs-glutes class?
No. We train abs, legs and glutes on the Reformer with spring resistance instead of body weight alone. That is more targeted and gentler on the joints.
How much does a class cost?
A single class is 19 €. With the 5-class card (89 €) it is 17.80 € per class, with the 10-class card (169 €) 16.90 €. All cards and memberships are on our prices page; you book in the timetable.
Do the trainers speak English?
Yes. Our trainers teach in German and English, so you can follow every class comfortably.
I have had a baby. Is the training suitable?
Often yes, once your doctor or midwife has cleared you. Let us know before class and the trainer will adapt the exercises.
