Women’s fitness in Schöneberg – Reformer instead of a gym

Looking for a workout in Schöneberg, but not a packed gym? At WeLovePilates you build strength, posture and mobility on the Reformer: women only, a maximum of eight per class, 50 minutes, with red light and near-infrared at every machine. Right in Schöneberg, Kolonnenstraße 54.

Fitness without rows of machines or waiting

In a typical gym you face a wall of machines, wait for the leg press and after three weeks are no longer sure you are doing the exercises right. Here it is different. Every session is a guided class with a fixed start time; a trainer leads you through the programme and corrects you. You come, train for 50 focused minutes and go. No membership card at the turnstile, no waiting for equipment.

What the Reformer has to do with fitness

The Reformer is a full strength training machine. Using springs, the trainer sets the resistance for every exercise, from gentle beginnings to work that seriously challenges your legs, glutes, core and arms. Because the carriage rolls, your body has to stabilise every movement, so you train the deep muscles that machines in a gym often miss.

The training is easy on the joints: no impact, no heavy loads on your spine. At the same time it is harder than it looks. Many women who come from the gym say after their first class that they felt muscles they did not know they had.

Fitness for women only

Only women train at WeLovePilates, led by female trainers. Many of our members left mixed gyms for exactly that reason. More on Women-only Pilates in Berlin.

Our class formats

If you want a strong core, legs and glutes, also read Abs, legs and glutes on the Reformer.

Red light and near-infrared at every Reformer

Above every Reformer hangs its own panel with red and near-infrared light. No other studio in Berlin equips every machine like this. Both wavelengths reach into the tissue and can stimulate circulation and metabolism in the muscles. Many of our members say they recover faster after class and find it easier to let go of tension.

To be honest about it: light does not burn fat and it does not replace training. You do the work on the Reformer; the panel creates good conditions for it. More on our page Red Light Pilates Berlin.

Gym contract or class card?

There is no two-year contract here. Book single classes, use a 5, 10 or 20-class card or choose a membership. All options are on our prices page.
